How to insert Lumo earplugs?

    1- Gently insert the earplug into your ear canal.

    2- Once it seals the ear canal, give it a small twist towards the back until it sits snugly at the base of your ear.

How to change eartips?

  • 1- To remove the tip, gently turn the eartip inside out and pull it off your earplug.

    2- Grab the new tip you want to use and flip it inside out and hold it between your thumb and index finger.

  • 3- Line the eartip up with the earplug's stem and gently push and twist until it fits snugly. If you are having trouble, try pinching the ear tip.

  • 4- Pop them in your ears to see how they feel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Lumo Earplugs do not perform active noise-cancelation like AirPods or other noise-canceling headphones. They are designed to reduce and muffle environmental noise, lowering sound by up to -28dB. You will still hear sounds, but at a significantly reduced level.

  • Soft sounds like breathing, the hum of a fridge, or a dishwasher will most likely be inaudible.
  • Medium sounds such as a TV in another room, distant traffic, or a flushing toilet will be reduced to faint murmurs.
  • Loud sounds like sirens, a dog barking, or fireworks will still be audible, but at a much lower volume.
  • Snoring varies in volume. Softer snoring may be completely blocked out or barely heard, while louder snoring (which can reach up to 100 dB) will still be noticeable, although less intense.

Lumo Earplugs they’re made from durable silicone, which makes them super easy to clean. You can either submerge them in water for a quick rinse or simply use a damp cloth with a bit of soapy water. 

For a deeper clean, detach the ear tips and wash them separately. Make sure that they are completely dry before you reassemble and use your ear plugs. 

Steer clear of chemicals and sharp objects when cleaning your earplugs.

Included Sizes

  • Your earplugs come with size M tips attached. Tip sizes XS, S, and L are also included in your box.

Choosing the Right Size

  • Size M fits most users, but try all sizes to find the most comfortable fit. The correct size will seal your ear canal without discomfort.
  • Just a heads up, you might need different sizes for your left and right ear.

Adjustments

  • If they feel loose, tend to fall out or if you hear no difference in noise reduction, go up a size. 
  • If they’re too tight or stick out, go down a size. 
  • To test the fit, move your jaw from side to side – if they’re inserted correctly, they should stay put.
  • A good seal will make your own voice sound louder to you.
